Fripa, Germany, Awards ANDRITZ Contract for New High-speed Tissue Machine
Fripa Papierfabrik Albert Friedrich KG has awarded international technology group ANDRITZ the contract to deliver a complete PrimeLine tissue machine to the company’s mill in Miltenberg, Germany.

The PrimeLine machine will have a capacity of 37,000 t/a, with a design speed of 2,200m/min and a web width of 2.72m. ANDRITZ will execute the project on an EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) basis. Start-up is planned for the fourth quarter of 2026.

Fripa, known for producing at the highest level of quality, performance and efficiency, has been operating an ANDRITZ tissue machine since 2008. The new PrimeLine TM S2200 tissue machine is set to become a flagship reference for sustainable, high-performance tissue production in Central Europe.

The value of the order will not be disclosed. It is included in ANDRITZ’s order intake in the third quarter of 2025.
