PAPER CHAIN INDONESIA EXPO 2025 Set to Open in Jakarta this July

The Paper Chain Indonesia Expo 2025 will be held from 29 – 31 July 2025, at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo Kemayoran). Jointly organized by the China National Chemical Information Centre (CNCIC) and the Indonesian Pulp & Paper Association (APKI), and held concurrently with WEPACK Southeast Asia 2025, the expo aims to build a one-stop professional exhibition and trade platform for the paper and packaging industry across Southeast Asia.

This year’s expo has attracted over 100 well-known companies from China, Indonesia, Vietnam, India and other countries and regions. The exhibits will comprehensively cover the entire industrial chain, including pulp and papermaking machinery, packaging equipment, environmental technologies, raw and auxiliary materials, and paper product processing. Industry leaders and technology innovators will showcase cutting-edge technologies and market-ready solutions, injecting new momentum into the Southeast Asian paper and packaging market.

This year’s exhibition will bring together renowned paper industry companies from Indonesia and international markets, including APRIL Group, SPS Corporate, PT Aspex Kumbong, PURA Group, PT Eco Paper Indonesia, PT Suparma, Indonesia Royal Paper, APP, Fajar, PT Supama and PT Rejeki Putra Putri Eliman (Oto Diapers). These companies will showcase the latest innovations and sustainable development practices in the pulp and paper industry.

At the same time, leading papermaking equipment and environmental technology suppliers from China — including Shanghai Qingliang, Henan Zhongya, Henan Jingxin, Ningbo Durrex, Qingdao Lehler, Shandong Mingyuan, Shashi Light Machinery, Shandong Hualong, Anhui Taipingyang, Xichun Environmental, Qiankun Environmental, TM system, Huagong Huanyuan, Shandong Zhongli — will also present their latest achievements in smart manufacturing and green technology applications.

During the expo, the “2025 (5th) Indonesia International Summit on Sustainable Development of Pulp & Paper and Packaging” will also be grandly held. Co-hosted by CNCIC and the IPPA, the forum aims to promote in-depth dialogue and practical cooperation between China, Indonesia, and Southeast Asia on the green transformation and sustainable development of the paper industry.

The forum has invited senior representatives from Indonesia’s Ministry of Industry, IPPA, the Paper Pulp Molding Packaging Committee of the China Packaging Federation, the Vietnam Pulp and Paper Association, the Indonesian Corrugated Carton Association, the Malaysian Corrugated Carton Manufacturers Association and the Asian Corrugated Carton Association, along with technical experts and leaders from Shandong Zhongli, Foshan Baosuo, Xichun Environmental, Xuchuan, Longran, APP and other leading companies.

Key discussion topics will include the implementation of Indonesia’s SNI national standards in paper packaging, technical upgrades in household paper, advanced water treatment solutions in the papermaking industry, safety and innovation in food-grade paper packaging, key technologies in fluorine-free oil-resistant agents, and cutting-edge developments in safe and sustainable packaging materials. Through policy interpretation, technology exchange, case sharing and application showcases, the forum will explore best practices in green industrial transformation, circular economy development and cross-border regulatory alignment.

As a flagship industry event in the Southeast Asian paper and packaging sector, Paper Chain Indonesia Expo 2025 serves not only as a showcase for the latest global achievements in the industry but also as a vital platform to foster high-quality development, green upgrades and international collaboration across the entire industry chain in China, Indonesia and the broader Southeast Asian region.
