Xuong Giang Paper Successfully Starts Up ANDRITZ Stock Preparation System

Xuong Giang Paper has successfully commissioned its new TM16 tissue production line at its mill in Bac Giang Province, Vietnam, supported by an advanced stock preparation system supplied by ANDRITZ.

The successful startup of the new stock preparation system is another important milestone in Xuong Giang Paper’s long-term development strategy. This investment significantly strengthens our production capacity and enhances our ability to consistently deliver premium-quality tissue products to customers in Vietnam and around the world. The TM16 project marks another achievement in the long-standing partnership between Xuong Giang Paper and ANDRITZ, following the successful start-up of two previous tissue production lines supplied by ANDRITZ.

The ANDRITZ scope of supply covered the complete stock preparation process, from pulping to refining, including an LBKP (bleached hardwood kraft pulp) high-consistency refining line, an NBKP (bleached softwood kraft pulp) low-consistency refining line and a tissue trimmings line. At the heart of the system is the PrimeRefine HC T high-consistency refining technology, specifically developed for tissue applications. The technology enhances short-fibre development, improves tissue softness and strength, optimises fibre utilisation and delivers consistently high-quality pulp with increased production efficiency.

With a comprehensive product portfolio ranging from tissue jumbo rolls to high-quality finished tissue products, Xuong Giang Paper serves both the domestic and international markets. The TM16 project enhances the company’s manufacturing capabilities, enabling it to better meet the growing global demand for premium tissue products while further improving production efficiency and product quality.
