Valmet Appoints New Executive Vice President, Pulp, Energy and Circularity Business Area
Valmet has appointed Max Luedtke as Executive Vice President, Pulp, Energy and Circularity business area and a member of Valmet’s Executive Leadership Team. He will start in his position on 1 September 2026, and will be based in Tikkurila, Vantaa, Finland.
Luedtke previously worked at ABB, where he most recently served as Business Line Manager, Mining & Mineral Processing. Prior to that, he held several global and regional leadership positions at ABB, including Global Product Group Manager, Global Segment Manager and Local Business Unit Manager. He has more than 20 years of international leadership experience in process industries, with extensive expertise in automation, electrification, digitalisation and business transformation.
Max brings vast international leadership experience, a strong track record in business growth and transformation and deep expertise in process industries, automation, electrification and digital technologies. His experience in leading global organisations and helping customers improve productivity and sustainability will be highly valuable as we continue to develop our Pulp, Energy and Circularity business and support our customers’ success.
