Valmet’s Quality Control Systems Support Viet Nam KORO Paper in Achieving Efficient, High-Quality Tissue Production on New Lines

Valmet will supply two Valmet IQ Quality Control Systems (QCS) to Viet Nam KORO Paper Joint Stock Company for its new tissue production lines TM3 and TM4 in Thanh Hoa Province, Vietnam. Installed on tissue machines supplied by a third-party manufacturer, the systems will support efficient startup, stable production and consistent product quality from day one.The investment will help KORO improve operational efficiency and optimise the use of energy and raw material.

The investment builds on the long-standing cooperation between KORO and Valmet. Valmet previously supplied a Valmet IQ Quality Control System for the group’s board machine BM2. The new order supports KORO’s growth strategy in the tissue market, where stable quality, resource efficiency and reliable production are critical to competitiveness and profitability.

The order was placed by ATZ Solutions Co., Ltd., a local certified Valmet partner. The order is included in Valmet’s orders received in the third quarter of 2026. The value of the order will not be disclosed. The delivery is scheduled for the third quarter of 2027.

Delivery’s technical information
The delivery includes two complete Valmet IQ Quality Control Systems for TM3 and TM4. The scope comprises Valmet IQ Scanner, Valmet IQ Fiber Measurement, Valmet IQ Softness Measurement, as well as machine direction (MD) and cross direction (CD) controls for performance monitoring and process optimisation.

Valmet IQ Quality Control Systems combine advanced measurements, controls and optimisation tools to help tissue producers achieve superior product quality, improve efficiency, reduce energy consumption and optimise raw material utilisation.
