Suzano Announces October Pulp Price Increases Across Markets
Brazilian pulp producer Suzano has announced pulp price increases for October 2026, raising list prices by USD50/tonne for customers in Europe and the Americas, and by USD20/tonne in Asia.
The latest adjustment comes as Suzano continues to implement price increases across its key markets. In Asia, the USD20/tonne hike follows a similar increase announced for September.
The announced changes apply to the company’s list prices, while final transaction prices will depend on negotiations between Suzano and individual customers.
The increases will be closely watched by paper and tissue producers, where market pulp remains a significant input cost. The latest move also provides a further indication of pulp producers’ pricing strategy as the market enters the final quarter of 2026 and buyers assess demand, inventory levels and supply conditions.
