Eric Hanson Appointed Vice President of Operations at Finch Paper

Finch Paper Holdings LLC announced the appointment of Eric Hanson as Vice President of Operations. In this role, Hanson will oversee manufacturing operations with a continued focus on safety, quality and operational excellence to deliver reliable results for customers.

Hanson will join Finch’s senior leadership team led by Chief Executive Officer Drew Gardner, alongside Mike McLarty, Vice President of Sales and Wood Procurement; Barry Chapman, Vice President of Sales and Marketing; and Tracey Riley, Chief Human Resources Officer.

As Vice President of Operations, Hanson will be responsible for approximately 250,000 tons of annual production, maintaining world-class safety and quality performance. During his first year, he will lead several major capital initiatives, including a winder upgrade and pulp mill improvement projects.

Hanson joins Finch Paper following a distinguished career with Pixelle Specialty Solutions and Glatfelter, where he held leadership roles at the Spring Grove, Chillicothe, Fremont and Androscoggin mills. Most recently, he served as Manufacturing Director for Graphic Packaging International, overseeing operations at the Kalamazoo facility. Hanson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maine.
