Valmet Introduces New Triple-Layer Seamed Press Felt, Expanding Its Wide Seam Felt Selection

Valmet has strengthened its market-leading portfolio of seamed press felts with the launch of a new triple-layer seamed press felt designed specifically for heavy-grade packaging machines. This latest addition ensures that Valmet now offers an optimised felt for every press-section position, supporting mills in improving productivity, runnability and end-product quality.

The new felt has been engineered to deliver maximised press-section performance, maintaining sufficient dewatering capacity throughout its entire targeted lifetime. Its high seam quality ensures stable operation, while the safe and easy installation supports faster changes and reduced downtime.

This new triple-layer design is a natural addition to our wide seamed press felt portfolio. Seam felts today are mature, high-performance products.
