AK Bolhassan (1952 – 2009)

It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of our editor, AK Bolhassan (known as Abang among his friends and colleagues), on 27 Oct 2019 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Abang had been the editor of PaperASIA and Asian Timber since 2005. Prior to that, he was the sub-editor with BERNAMA, a Malaysian news agency.

Abang passed away after battling with leukemia since early this year. Each of us not only grieves at the passing of a tremendous individual but also for the loss his family suffers.
