AFT Appoints Jeff Hartman as Chief Operating Officer
Aikawa Fiber Technologies (AFT) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeff Hartman as Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective February 18, 2025.
With over 36 years of experience in the pulp and paper industry, Hartman has been instrumental in driving operational success at AFT Americas since joining the company nine years ago. Previously serving as Director of Services & Systems and later as Vice President and General Manager, Americas, he has played a key role in enhancing AFT’s global service and operational strategies. Before AFT, Hartman served in growing roles within multiple well-established companies including Westvaco Corp., Champion International, Buckeye Technologies Inc. and Georgia-Pacific Corporation, gaining expertise in engineering, maintenance, operations and project management.
As COO, Hartman will focus on sustained growth, operational excellence, resource management, and the seamless implementation of best practices across AFT’s global sites. “AFT is confident that Jeff’s leadership and deep industry expertise will continue to strengthen the company’s global operations,” said Ali Raheem, CEO for AFT.
